International Coalition Aims to Double CAR‑T Access by 2030

Published on CAR T Vision (via CAR T Vision Coalition website)

A new international coalition, CAR T Vision, has launched with a bold goal: to double the share of eligible patients receiving CAR‑T therapy by 2030. Current access rates stand at just 20% in the US and 30% in Europe

A joint roadmap outlines three core priorities: boost awareness among clinicians and patients, expand clinical delivery capacity, and establish sustainable reimbursement models. Champions from academia, patient groups, industry, and payers, including leaders from MSK and ASTCT, are rallying to accelerate implementation

CAR T Vision is backed by founding sponsors Gilead and Kite, though the steering committee retains full editorial control

The initiative has already gathered support from dozens of hospitals, policy networks, and advocacy groups, and is now inviting additional members worldwide

This collaboration represents the first organized global push to close the CAR‑T access gap and ensure more patients benefit from these life‑saving therapies.
